The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce presents
Debate: 62nd District seat of the New York State Senate
Wednesday, October 15 at 7 p.m.
The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a debate between candidates for the 62nd District seat of the New York State Senate. This seat is currently held by Senator George Maziarz, who is not seeking reelection.
The debate will be held in the theater of the Arts and Media building at Niagara County Community College, 3111 Saunders Settlement Rd., Sanborn.
The debate will be moderated by Meghan Rossman, a reporter for Time Warner Cable News. In this format, candidates will be asked questions by the moderator with a set time to respond and a rebuttal from the opposing candidate.
Invited to attend are Democrat candidate Johnny Destino, Republican candidate Robert Ortt, and on the Working Families line, Paul Brown. The event is open to the public, although questions will not be taken from the audience. Please arrive at least one half hour before the debate begins.
